Olympics - Max Brown 5th in final of K2 1000 Canoeing

It was a proud moment for us all as Max Brown (Whanganui) and Kurtis Imrie put in an amazing effort to finish 5TH, less than 2 seconds behind the Australian winners in the Olympic Men's K2 1000m FINAL this afternoon.

Yes, that's right, 5th in the world!!!

CONGRATS to them ... a huge performance and making themselves, their family and Whanganui very proud.
